    Big Sister Dispenses Advice

At the bottom of the page you’re writing in, beside the blue “Publish” button there is one that says “Save Draft.” If you get into the habit of clicking on that one every couple minutes … then if something does go awry, you won’t lose much.

I’m sure neither of you need to be told that, but a little reminder shouldn’t hurt. What a piss-off to write for 10 or 15 minutes and lose the whole thing! I’ve had it happen to me, so I’ve learned the hard way.

I envy you, Joan, having “just” a rainy day there. It’s freezing cold here; I don’t even want to go outside. Yesterday was “wasted” due to the neck thing, and today I “should” go for a walk … but instead I lay down for an hour after Scott went to the field (he’s been working on the upper kitchen cabinets all morning and had to wait for some spackle to dry) and couldn’t sleep anyway and then my neck started acting up again so I’ve made myself a cup of coffee, like a lady of leisure — without any cake to go with it, mind you.

From Dawn- Much easier with iPad!

Now the directions make sense and everything is good! I helped make perogies in town this morning for the Autism fundraiser. About 16 women there so made short work of it! Did some at home yesterday and a few days before so am stocking up! Heading to Marc’s for supper tonight. Off to work tomorrow….blah..
I like my work once I get there but when I’m at home I don’t feel like going anywhere! A sign of aging, possibly?
Looking forward to starting another stained glass project for Missy’s ensuite window. Have to hit the glass store soon!

Is it aging? Because I’ve felt that way about jobs for about 20 years already. No matter how much I like them, I’d rather stay home. As a young woman (B.K.: Before Kids) I was always on the go, as if I might be missing something if I didn’t get out and around. Eventually I realized I wasn’t missing a thing, because home is where I prefer to be. -From May
